These are the items that have fallen the furthest against their average price at the start of the selected window. Falling prices matter for two different reasons: they are where a long-term buyer looks for an entry, and they are what catches out anyone holding stock bought at the old price.
Be careful reading a fall as a discount. An item can drop because supply increased permanently — a new drop source, a boss made easier, a bot farm scaling up — in which case the old price is not coming back. It can also drop because a temporary rush of sellers hit the market, which does tend to recover. Volume is the clue: heavy volume alongside a fall usually means something real changed.
The same volume floor and sanity cap apply here as on the rising list, so what you see is genuine market movement rather than stale quotes.
