What is 07Flip?

07Flip is a free market intelligence platform for Old School RuneScape Grand Exchange trading. It provides real-time flip discovery, deep technical price analysis, trade tracking with profit and loss accounting, merch detection, bot dump alerts, game update impact analysis, and a RuneLite plugin — all powered by the OSRS Wiki Real-Time Prices API and updated every 30 seconds.

Unlike simpler margin checkers, 07Flip is designed as a full trading workflow tool: find the flip, analyse the chart, log the trade, set a price alert at your target, and get notified when to sell — without ever leaving the platform.

Core Features

Real-Time Flip Finder

The flip finder scans every tradeable item on the Grand Exchange and ranks opportunities by post-tax profit, ROI, and potential GP per hour (based on buy limits). All margins are calculated after the 2% GE tax and capped at 5M — the number you see is the number you actually make. Data refreshes every 30 seconds from the OSRS Wiki Real-Time Prices API.

Each item is assigned a confidence score (0–100) that combines four signals: hourly trade volume (40%), price volatility (30%), spread quality (20%), and data freshness (10%). This answers the most important flipping question: is this margin real, or is it a stale price from a dead market?

Technical Chart Analysis

Every item page includes interactive price charts with a full suite of technical indicators:

• RSI (Relative Strength Index) — identifies overbought and oversold conditions
• MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence) — momentum and trend direction signals
• EMA (Exponential Moving Averages) — smoothed price trends at multiple timeframes
• Fibonacci retracement levels — key support and resistance zones automatically plotted on the chart
• Volume bars — hourly and daily trade volume overlaid on the price chart

Price history is available in multiple timeframes (5m, 1h, 6h, 24h, 7d, 30d, 90d) and can be exported to CSV for offline analysis.

GE Trade Tracker

The trade tracker is a full profit and loss ledger for your Grand Exchange activity. Log every flip with your buy price, sell price, quantity, and optional notes. The tracker calculates:

• Net profit after GE tax for each trade
• Total GP made across all logged trades
• % progress to target price — shows exactly how close the current market price is to your sell target for each open position
• Live current price vs your logged buy price for open trades

The tracker integrates with the price alert system — you can set a sell target directly from a logged trade and receive a push notification when the item reaches that price.

Freeze Feature (Entry Price Lock)

When you log a trade and lock in your entry price, 07Flip freezes that reference point so you always see your exact profit at any given sell price — not a generic margin based on the current buy price. This is particularly useful for longer holds where the buy price has moved since you placed your offer: you know what you paid, and the tracker shows exactly what you need to sell for to hit your target return.

Price Alert System

Set price alerts on any item — either as a buy trigger (notify when price drops below a threshold) or a sell trigger (notify when price rises above your target). Alerts are delivered as browser push notifications, so you get notified even when the 07Flip tab is closed. Alerts can be created directly from the flip finder, from an individual item page, or from an open trade in the tracker.

• Premium accounts: up to 100 active alerts

Merch Detection

07Flip's merch detection engine continuously monitors the Grand Exchange for coordinated price manipulation signals — items showing unusually high buy-side pressure, volume spikes, and position building consistent with a merch. When a credible signal is detected, premium users receive a Discord and push notification with the item, current price, target price, and confidence tier (Conviction or All-Time Low).

Bot Dump Detection

Bot dump alerts identify items being sold into the market at abnormal volumes — a pattern caused by botted skilling supplies flooding the GE at specific times of day. These signals help traders avoid buying into a dump or identify recovery opportunities after one ends.

OSRS News & Market Impact Analysis

The news tab monitors the OSRS Wiki for every game update and analyses which items are likely to be affected. Each update post is automatically enriched with:

• A bullish/bearish/neutral verdict on market impact
• Specific items named in the update and their current GE prices
• A plain-English summary of how the update is likely to move prices

This is separate from the price spike preset, which shows items with sudden upward price movement — often the first signal that a game update has hit the market before the news tab has processed it.
