Most profit you can make from one item in a 4-hour buy limit window.
The Grand Exchange caps how many of each item you can buy in a four-hour window. That cap, not your bankroll and not the margin, is usually what actually limits a flip. An item with a 500 coin margin and a 10,000 buy limit is worth far more per window than one with a 5,000 coin margin and a limit of 8 — but almost every flipping list ranks them the other way around.
This page multiplies the margin after tax by the buy limit to give the ceiling on what one item can return in a single window. It is a ceiling, not a forecast: it assumes you buy the full limit and sell all of it, which requires the volume to support it. Read it alongside the daily volume column.
This is the number to use when you are choosing what to put in a limited number of Grand Exchange slots. With eight slots and four-hour windows, what matters is profit per slot per window, not profit per item.
