More Leagues VI Fixes

As more tasks are completed, more drops are gifted and much more XP is gained, the team is back with a handful of fixes! The team's main priority currently is to fix any issues raised that stop tasks from being completed or stalling progress towards a certain task. We'll be keeping an eye out any more key issues and you can take a look at what's on our radar with the Leagues VI: Demonic Pacts - Fixes & Issues newspost. Something to keep in mind with any hotfixes or coldfixes is that it is always best practice to open the Task or Area interface to have some of the changes take place! For now, let's take a look at the handful of fixes from this week's update:

• •The Toxic and Drygore blowpipe now correctly benefit from the ammo regeneration pacts.
• •Canoe transportation in Kandarin should now work correctly.
• •Asgarnia Hop Seeds now transmute properly into other seeds.
• •Barbarian Gathering now correctly gives high tier logs from Wilderness Ents.
• •The task to pickpocket a diamond from TzHaar-Hur can now be completed with the Larcenist relic active.
• •On League worlds, Hydra tail now drops as a Bonecrusher necklace from regular Hydras.
• •The Leviathan task 'Unconventional' can now be completed when using Ranged Echoes or Thorns.
• •Completing all three of the Thermonuclear smoke devil's Combat Achievements now also completes the associated hard League task. (Open the Area or Task interface to retroactively complete this)
• •Updated the name of "Chop a dense jungle" task to "Fully clear a dense jungle" to clarify what needs to be done. This task will also be completed if you find a gem rock or a gout tuber in the dense jungle.
• •"Complete the Corrupted Gauntlet in 4:30" task now completes upon finishing within the stated time. If you've already done the task within the time limit, it will retroactively be completed upon opening a Leagues interface like Pacts or Areas.
• •The Clue Scroll requiring the 'BJR 1123' fairy ring will now be given to players who have unlocked Kandarin, Karamja and Asgarnia.
• •The clue step requiring to search a chest in Varrock is no longer being given in Leagues.

While we've got a handful of fixes with this game update, we've still got issues on our radar! So, we wanted to give you a fresh look at fixes you can expect to see in an upcoming release. Please note: things may change here after investigation or by prioritising other fixes but we'll look to keep the Leagues VI: Demonic Pacts - Fixes & Issues newspost up-to-date with any major shifts.

• •Grimoire is locking Piety after picking Kandarin, causing players to complete the Knights Waves to unlock it again.
• •Using the Flask of Fervour is clearing stacks from the Lithic Staff.
• •Certain damage is still damaging the player in the invulnerability phase of Flask of Fervour.
• •Passive XP multiplier descriptions are incorrect (Tier 4, Tier 5, Tier 6 & Tier 7). Please note this is only a text change, the multipliers will be staying at Tier 4 & Tier 6.
• •Transmute spells don't actually cost 1 nature rune, and show as greyed out when players can cast it.
• •The Banker's Briefcase doesn't have a teleport to the Zanaris bank.
• •Players with Endless Harvest and Woodsman are unable to cut the Redwood Tree in the Farming Guild.
• •Minion isn't functioning at Sol Heredit.
• •Endless Harvest doesn't auto-move with Karambwanji or the Shark spot in Priffddinas.
• •Bones from Hunter don't auto-bank with Woodsman.

• •Avernic Treads (with Ranger Boots and Pegasian Boots) is not triggering the "Equip Ranger Boots" task.
• •'His Faithful Servants' task is still not completing for players who had the quest auto-completed with the Desert.
• •(g) or (t) items aren't completing the 'Equip a piece of Black Armour' task.
• •Bake Pie spell does not count for 'Cook X Pies' task.

• •Thorns stops you from completing combat achievements that require a specific type of damage be dealt.
• •Players cannot complete the Yama Combat Achievement 'No toppings, no drinks, thanks' with any healing Pacts.
• •Spec weapons that cost 25% to use, are consuming double the Special Attack energy if triggering thrown weapon Pacts.
• •The Abyssal Tentacle is not being affected by saving charges, and instead using 1-2 charges per attack.
• •Dramen Staff counts as a heavy weapon for Blindbag.

• •Attacking one volatile earth from the Doom of Mokhaiotl immediately spawns and despawns the orb.

• •Players are able to receive a Master Clue step that requires them to travel to the Obelisk of Air.
• •Cannot complete Morge Clue step as you cannot get Diving Equipment from Murphy without Recipe for Disaster.
• •The Sage is currently using the wrong animation.
• •The respawn timer for the Tiranwnn rabbit is longer than necessary.
• •The Combat Achievement 'I was here first!' is very tedious to complete with no Kourend.

While we've got a roster of fixes on our radar and set our priorities, this has meant that some issues you've raised won't be fixed within this League. Rathering than leaving you to speculate, we'd rather be up front and set your expectations on what should be fixed. While this isn't the complete list, the issues below have been raised to be investigated for a future Leagues if we revisit those mechanics or features.

• •The Shadowflame Quadrant isn't functioning as expected at the Doom of Mokhaiotl.
• •Thorns don't work against Shades from the Shades of Mort'ton Minigame.
• •Endless Harvest doesn't auto-move with Karambwanji or the Shark spot in Priffdinas.
• •The Blue Moon Spear doesn't work with the 'Melee at Range' Pacts.
• •Natures accord is failing to note Tree Roots.
• •Loot from Master Farmers that goes into a Seed Box with Larcenist is not multiplied by 10x.
• •While Wintertodt is covered by the drop rate modifier, it isn't covered by the 'Minigame' boost.
• •Minion to have more customisable looting, such as clues and untradeables.
• •The Clue Contract teleports a player to a tile they cannot move on for the 'Read "How to breed scorpions" By O.W.Thathurt.' Clue step.
• •Thorns isn't triggering against an enemy attack that doesn't trigger a hitsplat.
• •The Flask of Fervour isn't damaging certain enemies within the Chambers of Xeric.
• •Blindbag is less effective with alot of movement, sometimes losing out on hits.
• •Blindbag is removing offhand items with Kitted Scythes.
• •If you have a Battleaxe in triggered with Blindbag, it stays equipped.

When it comes to the Demonic Pacts specifically, while we could spend the rest of the League tweaking and balancing Pacts to hopefully push those builds that feel weaker to a better place, the balancing of this particular system warrants plenty of time. Touching on something we said previously, we don't want to spend the rest of the league 'chasing our tail' by constantly shifting the current balance of the Pacts. While not perfect, we think players are in a better spot with the extra resets and tasks we've added and we would hate to create any more 'pact regret'. We really appreciate all the feedback and discussions we've seen around the new experimental system and we'll be looking to implement what we can if we are to revisit the Pacts in the future!

• •We've fixed a bug where the Giant Easter Egg was causing players to stall on PvP Worlds.
