Last time we sat down with J1mmy, today it's Odablock, and that wraps up our run of special episodes. If you haven't checked out the podcast yet, please consider doing so. Discoverability has gotten much worse in a world increasingly led by algorithms, and the more support we get from you before Season 2, the better the chances of our podcast reaching interested eyes and ears. Now, onto today's guest! Odablock is one of the most recognisable names in Old School PvP, known for high-risk fights, big moments in Deadman, and bringing a ton of energy to every stream. In this episode we get to know the person behind the screen, from his earliest RuneScape memories and first steps into PvP, to what it takes to stay consistent as a full-time creator. He also talks honestly about how he thinks he's changed over the years, and what people might be missing if they've only ever seen him through clips. What to expect in this episode:
- •From cousin’s screen to the Wilderness: how Odablock first found RuneScape, why PvP grabbed him straight away, and the early players and styles that shaped how he fights today.
- •Taking the leap into streaming: the early grind, backing himself when it still felt like a long shot, and the DIY beginnings (including streaming from the garage) that helped him push through.
- •More than the clips: why short-form can give a very different impression to the full stream, how getting older has changed his mindset, and what he wants his community to take from his content now.
- •Content creation as a job: the realities of staying “on” for hours at a time, keeping momentum across platforms, and how he thinks about reach, consistency, and long-term growth.
- •PvP for more players: his thoughts on making PvP and Deadman more accessible, why rivalry is part of the appeal, and what he’s most excited for across the OSRS roadmap (including Deadman, Leagues and Raids 4).
This episode was recorded on 15th January 2026.
