Mobile Character Switcher Coming Soon!

When Mobile Character Switcher goes live, if you have more than one character attached to your account you'll be shown an extra option on the usual character select screen. Your default character on the initial menu will always be the character you last logged into on that device.

If you only have one character, you won't see the option at all.

When you head into the "Switch character" option, you'll see up to 20 available characters, four to a page.

In the character select menu, you'll see a handy little star by each name to denote whether that character is a members or free-to-play account. Silver for F2P, gold for members, just like in the world lists.

After selecting the character you want to play, you'll be taken back to the Play Now screen where you can change worlds or head straight into game. The world choice won't automatically change when you switch characters, so keep an eye on that!

By default, your characters appear in the order they were created. If you'd like to change the order, head to for your Jagex Account, click "Edit Characters" and drag the desired characters nearer the top into your preferred order. You can change this whenever you feel like, too.

We know anticipation for Mobile Character Switcher is high, and you don't have long to wait...

We're aiming for a late March, early April release date! This is assuming no sneaky, unexpected bugs cause any issues, of course. It'll drop as part of a client update and we'll make sure you're fully aware when it's available!
