Further Gathering Efficiencies
Quick facts

Top Another round of Gathering Efficiencies has arrived, including Daeyalt Shards benefitting from Celestial Ring's boost and Poison Dynamite becoming easier to sustain. Plus, the Dog Shelter's good bois officially received their player-given names!
Gathering Efficiencies Celestial Signet's and Celestial Ring's Mining enhancer effect now applies to Daeyalt Shards, giving players a 1 in 10 chance to receive double the amount of Daeyalt Shards on a successful Mining action.
- •You can now claim noted Daeyalt Essence when converting their respective shards.
- •You can activate this toggle by speaking to Noranna Tytanin, where you can choose whether to collect the Daeyalt Essences as noted in your inventory, or have them sent straight to your bank.
- •UIMs will always receive Daeyalt Essences in their inventory, but they can choose whether they’re received noted or unnoted.
- •Creating Poison Dynamite now requires only 1 Nightshade or Cave Nightshade instead of 3.
- •You can now construct Deadfall and Pitfall traps using logs that are stored in your Log Basket. Logs in your inventory will still be consumed first.
- •On our Official Client (including mobile), we've added a visual indicator to farming patches that show whether they've been composted, and which tier of compost has been used.
- •This feature is a toggle in the Settings menu under the Activities tab: "Farming compost overlay". You can also choose your preferred colour for the visual indicator.
- •You can now light a fire at the Nex bank area, allowing you to cook food so you can prepare for the Nex fight adequately.
Player-Named Puppies
- •12 puppies in the Dog Shelter have officially received their player-given names, thanks to giveaways during our fundraiser livestream for Alveus Sanctuary. Head to the dedicated section in this blog to see what our winners named them!
Z-Buffer Fixes
- •Fixed clipping issues for:
- •Trap pit animation for Sabre-toothed kyatt
- •A fermenting vat in Aldarin
- •The plank walkways around the building on Braindeath Island
- •A totem pole sticking through the upper floor and a bookshelf digging into the wall in the Legends' Guild Dungeon.
- •Fixed flickering issues for Varrock Church's stained glass window with the Saradomin symbol
- •Some passageways in the Legends' Guild Dungeon that looked to be inaccessible are now visible again.
- •Corrected some graphical details for the windows of a building at the Ardougne Market cutscene during the Song of the Elves quest.
Other Changes
- •You can now enter the Coral Farm underwater area at The Great Conch, without having to bank your pet, similar to the change made last week for the Fossil Island's underwater area.
- •The only pets that you'd still need to bank are the pets that do not benefit from Probita's insurance service.
- •The following sea-related pets will be now shown when following you underwater areas, similar to Pet Kraken and Pet Chaos Elemental:
- •Soup
- •Tiny Tempor
- •Lil'viathan
- •Players can now find a replacement Medallion of the Deep even if they have already one in a STASH unit.
- •You can now look up the results of a Grand Exchange search using the Wiki button. Likewise, the Wiki Lookup function should now also work while the Bank interface is open.
- •Under the hood, we've reworked the code that makes clue scrolls & boxes remain on the ground for longer when NPCs drop them as loot in private boss instances. Along with applying that behaviour for Sarachnis now, we hope that by making this code more future-proof, future boss updates will receive this standard behaviour more reliably.
- •Fish added with Sailing (Giant krill, Haddock, Yellowfin, Halibut, Bluefin, Marlin) are now listed in the Healing tab of the Hitpoints skill guide.
- •A scenery piece called 'null' has been given a suitable name.
