Optimiser

Setup

Tell us how much capital you have and how you like to flip. We'll build a fillable allocation across your GE slots.

Accepts shorthand: 1.5m, 250k, 15000000

The optimiser is a 07Flip Premium feature.

OSRS GE Optimiser — turn your bankroll into a fillable flip allocation

The 07Flip Optimiser takes the three things you actually control — how much capital you want to commit, how many Grand Exchange slots you have free, and how much risk you want to take — and turns them into a concrete plan: which items to buy, how many of each, the buy and sell price to use, and roughly how long each slot should take to fill. It is built on the same live OSRS Grand Exchange price data as the rest of 07Flip, so every number reflects how items are trading right now rather than a stale snapshot.

How the optimiser works

You give the optimiser a budget (your capital), the number of GE slots to spread it across (1–8), a risk tier, and a target fill window. It then ranks eligible items by expected after-tax profit, weighs them against each item's buy limit and recent hourly volume, and packs your capital into the slots so that each one is realistically fillable inside your chosen window. Higher-risk tiers reach for wider margins on thinner, slower-moving items; lower-risk tiers favour liquid items that fill quickly. The result is an allocation you can place straight into the Grand Exchange.

These are short-term flips, not overnight holds

The optimiser uses 07Flip's recommended buy and sell prices, which are tuned for fast flips — they target how an item is trading over the most recent hour, so each fill is meant to be bought and sold within an hour or two. They are not designed for overnight or multi-day holds: a price that looks like a good buy right now can drift overnight. If you want longer-term, overnight setups, use the ATL, Oversold Dip and Momentum Recovery filters on the dashboard, or the price projections and alerts on each item's page, which look at multi-day trends instead.

Choosing capital, slots, and risk

More slots spread your capital across more items, which lowers the impact of any single slow fill but also pulls in smaller, less liquid opportunities. Fewer slots concentrate your bankroll into the strongest few flips. Buy limits cap how many of an item you can purchase every four hours, so very large bankrolls naturally need more slots (or higher-value items) to deploy fully. Pick a fill window that matches how long you can babysit your offers — a tighter window biases the allocation toward items that move quickly.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use the optimiser for overnight flips?

No. The suggested prices are built for short-term flips and assume you buy and sell within an hour or two. For overnight or longer holds, use the dashboard's ATL, Oversold Dip and Momentum Recovery filters, or the item-page projections.

How many GE slots should I use?

Use as many free slots as you can actively manage. More slots diversify across items and reduce reliance on a single fill; fewer slots concentrate capital into your best opportunities. Large bankrolls usually need more slots because buy limits cap how much of any one item you can buy.

Does the optimiser account for GE tax and buy limits?

Yes. Expected profit is calculated after the 2% Grand Exchange tax (capped at 5M per item), and quantities are capped at each item's 4-hour buy limit so the allocation is actually placeable.

Why did a slot stay unfilled or fill slowly?

Fill estimates are based on recent hourly volume, not a guarantee. Thinner or higher-value items trade less often, so they can sit longer. If a slot is taking too long, reconfigure with a tighter fill window or more slots to favour faster, more liquid items.
